Does a massage therapy treatment have to be painful?
No. Every treatment is made just for you, and you’re in control of how much pressure is used. Your therapist will check in with you during the session. If something feels too tender or painful, let them know—they can adjust to make you more comfortable.
What is wrong with me? Why does it hurt?
To figure out the problem, your therapist will take a detailed history and assess your condition. Pain can come from many things, like past injuries, daily habits, or your activities. Every person’s situation is unique.
How long will it take for me to get better?
Your therapist will create a treatment plan after your first session. This plan will explain how many treatments you might need, how often, and how long each session should be.
Can I do anything at home to help myself get better?
Yes! Your therapist will give you tips for stretches, exercises, and posture awareness to help speed up your recovery.
I have had a hard day/week/year. Can I get some help relaxing?
Absolutely! If you’ve had a tough day, week, or year, we’re here to help you feel like yourself again.
Should I continue massage as maintenance on my body?
Yes, regular massage can help you stay pain-free and healthy. How often you need a massage depends on your lifestyle. Some people feel great with a massage every few weeks, while others need one every few months.
